Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data BiCalc processes and how we handle it. Our principle is simple: collect as little as possible, use only what is needed.
1. Data We Process
- The numbers you calculate. Sent to the server only to be computed and translated into Wós Byak, then returned. These numbers are not stored permanently.
- Admin account data. For username sign-in, we store the username and password in hashed form (not reversible).
- Social sign-in. If you sign in via Google, Facebook, or Outlook, we only receive your name and email address to identify your session and record you as a registered user. We do not access your contacts, password, or account contents at those providers.
2. Cookies & Sessions
We use an HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, plus one small cookie to remember your language choice. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
3. Use of Data
Data is used solely to run the application: to authenticate you and to display calculation results. We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Security
Passwords are stored with the bcrypt algorithm. Important requests are protected with a CSRF token. We recommend running the application over HTTPS in production.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and related data by contacting the developer via the Developer page.
6. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time; any changes will be shown on this page.
